The conference focused on the topic of micro-credentials in the context of Czech higher education. This topic is currently being actively pursued at Charles University, and we strongly believe that this new, flexible approach to education will contribute to the effective and sustainable upskilling in our society, thus fostering the development of the knowledge economy in the Czech Republic. The concept of introducing micro-credentials is now being addressed by all public universities in the Czech Republic within the framework of the NPO project. The conference sought to address many questions related to this concept.
