Microscopic Approaches and Image Analysis in Biomedicine and Microtechnologie

    Annotation

Microscopic Approaches and Image Analysis in Biomedicine and Microtechnologies is a 5 days long, hands-on course that aims to teach participants how to extract valuable insights from their microscopy images and analyze and visualize them. It is designed as an interactive learning experience where participants can collaborate, discuss, and develop their BioImage analysis workflows with guidance from experts in the field with access to specially developed learning materials. Day 1 focuses on a basic understanding of microscopy, image acquisition, computer graphics theory, and bioimage analysis. Days 2 and 3 are devoted to hands-on sessions using the open-source tool ImageJ and the proprietary software Vision4D. Day 4 focuses on the reproducibility of bioimage analysis and the preparation of images for presentation and publication purposes. By the end of the workshop day 5, participants will have the skills necessary to effectively analyze, visualize, and interpret their bioimage data.
