Improving access to higher education through microcredentials

The project aims to improve the accessibility of higher education thanks to micro-credenti
digitalization of activities related to the support of educational activities and administ
associated with the study agenda. It is a joint project of 26 public universities. Their c
ensures mutual compatibility of solutions in the field of micro-credentials and digitisati
activities. At the same time, this cooperation has a positive impact on the economy, effic
effectiveness of the funds used.

The project partners analysed the current state of various documents regarding skill-enhan
the national level and analysed practices from abroad in order to find the best solutions.
on the development of a methodology for the recognition of existing courses or programmes
the requirements for micro-credentials, the design of a single unified certificate format
for unifying short-term education forms through the ECTS credit system.
The digitalization of the addressed area requires the creation of a joint on-line course c
public universities that meet the requirements for micro-credentials and the development o
information system for higher education results verification.
